Hello people of the world. My name is Jad (a moniker created by my best friend if you care to know...which you most likely do not) and you have found my literary montage of philosophical, chaotic, or sometimes completely pointless and utterly irrelevant thoughts. Congratulations, you are looking into the extremely frightening and never before explored black abyss known as my brain. Hypothetical fireworks exploding around you; watch out they may singe your eyebrows. 0_o
This picture I took in Provincetown, Massachusetts. My friends and I were wandering around and stumbled down an old alleyway. The alleyway morphed into sand by the end, leading to a desolate beach and choppy waters (the weather was awful that day, as you can see). Right on the edge of the sand was this sign. I thought it was especially neat since it was made from seaweed...
Highlight of My WeekIt's snowing! My world has been cloaked in powdery white not only today, but monday as well. Now, I adore snow. There is magic present in the spindly arms of each crystal flake. In its ability to make such a dark, somber, lifeless time of year into light. The stark purity of snow has a way of masking the grotesque and the dirty, until everything gleams with a cold beauty akin to stars.

Joy-devouring PortionMy sister has chickenpox. The devilish little virus has made its presence known by the blisters covering her skin. And by the abhorrent attitude it granted her. Ugh, she gave me the eyes, and a second later she was asleep. In. My. Bed.
I on the other hand have never had the chickenpox, though school made me get the vaccine a few years back. Honestly, I think I am naturally immune to chickenpox. As a young, easily scarred child, my mother would forcibly make me rub against other small children with the ailment in hopes that I become infected. Never worked. I'm still annoyed at her, as all that happened was that I got their yucky pus and buggers all over me. Nasty children. |
Weirdest, Most Non-Understandable Occurrence That Must Be SharedNow, I consider myself a very logical person, however, my mom has this pendulum. A pendulum can be used spiritually to ask questions and receive "yes" or "no" answers from God, the Universe, Gandalf, etc. Naturally, I thought this was baloney, but then I tried it. I held the pendulum in a still hand and asked, "What is my yes?". The pendulum swung perpendicular to my body as if nodding. I then asked, "What is my no?". The pendulum instantly shifted positions to swing parallel to my body, as if shaking its head "no". I then asked various questions that I already knew the answer to, and it got every one of them right. I then asked my mom to hold the pendulum as she repeated questions I knew the answer to but she did not, thinking that maybe subconsciously I made the pendulum move the direction I wanted it to. It got those questions right too.
So, now I have been asking questions about the future. I guess I will have to wait and find out if the pendulum was right after all. |
